Cuauhtemoc Godisfadir was born July 7, 1977 in the capital of Mexico, Mexico City, D.F. Godisfadir is a successful businessman with political aspirations. Cuauhtemoc is Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Penn LOP, the world’s largest accounting and financial firm.


Early Life[]

Godisfadir was born to Catholic parents Gael Godisfadir Sandoval and Sofia Echevarria, both of Mexican descent. His father, Gael, was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. His mother, Sofia, was born in Mexico City, D.F.



In 1972, Gael became a national on-air icon in radio and television.



On October 14, 1972 Gael and Sofia married. They had three children: Rosanna, Alicia, and Cuauhtemoc.


Business Career[]

Cuauhtemoc shied away from media and artistic endeavors that his father excelled at and went into business, where he flourished under the strict, rules based environment. Prior to that, Cuauhtemoc began scavenging and dumpster diving to collect aluminum cans and other recyclable metals at the age of 7. At the age of 14, he began his working career in the fast food industry. At the age of 17, Godisfadir ventured out on his own, supporting himself with two jobs, while attending university at UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico). While at UNAM, Cuauhtemoc met his future wife, Erica. In 1999, Cuauhtemoc graduated with a degree in Business Administration with an Accounting emphasis. He then went to work for Deloitte at its Mexico City offices.



In 2009, Cuauhtemoc left Deloitte to found his own firm, Penn LOP. In three short years, Penn LOP has grown exponentially to become the world’s largest firm.
