Dwight the Driving Dog
In the midst of the chaos of New York City, one thing is constant: Dwight the Driving Dog. Dwight is known in most circles as the “cream of the crop”, when it comes to prompt transpiration services. The New York Times in December, wrote an article on his accolades (See Article “Dwight: Meet Transportation’s New Top Dog”). Dwight has some of the highest ratings on all of the nations top transportation companies, and as of December 12, 2015, Dwight became the official spokesdog of San Francisco based transportation service UBER. At the ripe age of 21 (in dog years), Dwight was awarded multiple medals for community service and bravery, when he was tasked with transporting visiting royalty around the city!
Dwight the 127 pound St.Bernard, was bred and raised on the rough streets of NYC. Born to Italian immigrant St. Bernard’s Maria and Luigi, Dwight learned everything from spaghetti to playing fetch. Dwight first took up driving in 2007, after he recorded the highest driving and written test scores on record. According to the New York Department of Motor Vehicles, Dwight included in his test, recommendations for helping traffic conditions on weekdays and holidays. In the eyes if the DMV, this recommendation merited extra credit which, in addition to the 100% original score, led to a historically high score. Dwight immediately took to the streets, and has been shuttling people to various locations around NYC for years now.
