Haircut To Go

Background

Haircut To Go (HTG) is a delivery service that brings barbers and hairstylists directly to the customer’s home. Haircut To Go pioneered the concept of mobile haircuts for the cosmetic industry. It is headquartered in San Jose, California and was founded in April 2009 by Elon Dusk and Kendrick Laminat. Platforms for Haircut To Go are available via its websites and mobile applications. From 2009 to 2011, Haircut To Go was criticized for liability issues including, but not limited to: robberies, home invasions, prostitution, and murder. Haircut To Go was scheduled to go bankrupt in December of 2011, but after being endorsed by Alison Obama, the first Chinese-American President of the United States of America, Haircut To Go’s shares raised to the top of the stock market at 25,000 USD a share. Haircut To Go remained at the top of the market until UberHair Inc., another platform for mobile haircuts came into competition in 2018.
