Lobstertopia is an underground city in Northern California, just 4.7 miles north of the city of San Jose, and is situated 1,543 feet below the surface. The city is renown for edible lobster people who dwell there and its unique architecture and cultural traditions. The entire underground city is listed as a World Heritage Cite.

Loberstopia began construction in 1921 by the lobster people and was completed in 1928 as a sanctuary for all lobster kind. The city layout is a near perfect circle with a 7 mile radius. The city, in its entirety, is comprised of blue diamonds. The underground city's ceiling is supported by 4 massive pillars called the Pillars of Abrams, named after the lobster people's deity. As of the last offical California Census, Lobstertopia is home to 304,400 inhabitants.

The name, "Lobstertopia", is derived from the English word, "lobster". The relationship that the crustaceans have with the name of the city and it's people is that the people enjoyed lobster so much that they decided to incorporate the name to the title of their city and the label of their people.

Since its completed, Lobstertopia has been the world leader in bendable straw manufacturing. In 2014, according to San Jose State University researchers, Lobstertopia accounted for nearly 95% of the world wide bendable straw manufacture.

At the very center of Lobstertopia lies their governming body. As with all cities in the United States, the city is ran by a mayor and his/her elected officials. However, according the Loberstopia city constitution, the mayor is elected for life. (Article 6, paragraph 7 line 12, The Grand Lobster Constitution) The second and current mayor is Hubu Garybuwer who took office in 1987 after the death of the 1987 "Lobster Massacre" in which the first mayor, Papu Kitlutingberg lost his life.
