Early Childhood

Steven Chang was born on April 15th, 1987. He grew up in a wealthy family in Taiwan, Taipei with his sister and mother. He went to Hsien-Meng elementary school in Taipei and moved to the United States when he was 8 years old.

Early life & Education

He went to Lynbrook High School in San Francisco at age sixteen. At the same time, Steven also worked part-time at the local magician shop. While still attending Lynbrook, Steven first found out his talent as a wizard. He became the first Chinese wizard and attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the United Kingdom. Steven started to explore the magical world and became friends with Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger. After 2 years of training, Steven won the World Magic Awards in 2005, and in the same year was also awarded the Asian Golden Magic Award right before he graduated from the Hogwarts School.


In 2007, Steven started backpacking in Asia. He went to at least 47 countries to help and support the people who are interested in becoming a magician/wizard. Steven was the youngest Chinese wizard/magician to have ever been awarded in the wizard world. In addition, Steven begins to start his own wizard school in China at the year of 2005. Not only did Steven provided education to the people of China he also taught them life skills to better prepare them for the future.

In April 2010, the Community voted him as the “Most influential person” in the world by Times Magazine.
