Located on the northeast section of San Jose State campus there is a time portal. This time portal looks like a sundial on the ground and was created by Christopher Smith on October 26th, 2015. Smith employed the use of electromagnetic circuits in order to build the time machine. Smith tokened the name of “The Never Ending Hope” because once you enter the portal the possibilities are never ending. This time portal was created for one specific mission. This mission is to go back into time in order to prevent the spike of homelessness in the city of San Jose. San Jose is the 10th largest city in the United States and the 3rd best place to live, but many people are not aware of the homeless population in downtown. The time portal has many features about it. Once you enter the portal you are only gone from present day reality for 10 minutes, regardless if you are in the portal for 2 minutes or 2 years.  Also, if you re-enter the time portal anything that was done during the first entrance will be erased; therefore making it extremely hard to prevent the spike of homelessness because it needs to be prevented in one visit. Christopher Smith has been the only man to enter the time portal. His last visit was August 24th, 2016, but he plans to return on July 14th, 2017. Smith and his colleagues have been working tirelessly in order to find the way to prevent homelessness from becoming such an epidemic in the beautiful city of San Jose.
